This one has it all... love, sex, gore, humor and page-turning drama.

I've read all of Robb's "In Death" novels and regret buying this one. I don't understand why some authors think they need to describe obscene torture with hammers, knives, blow torches, etc, with the victims living through this pain for two days before they die. This series has been fun because of the characters, the witty repartee, and Robb's creative setting of 2060. She doesn't need blood and gore in this series.

What a page turner. Over the top for excellence I'm writing and first rate police work. By far my favorite Eve and Roarke story as they have come so far together. Highly recommended and cannot wait for the next "in death" novel.

I am a Nora Roberts fanatic and an even bigger J.D. Robb fanatic. I've read just about every book by both and this by far was the best. Thank you J.D. Robb for giving me so much that words cannot even explain.

Nora Roberts hit a homer with this one. I have read every book in this series. Some of them more than once. I love the recurring charitors and their previous histories. They make it so easy to zoom right to the heart of the story. And knowing their histories makes you root for them to better themselves as they progress. I particularly enjoyed this book because she used so many of them in various ways to tie everything together. I know many have said it before but Nora Roberts is my favorite author. Can’t wait for the next book.
