Credible, Holds your attention
I ordered this book because the story takes place from Whitefish Point, Mi. to Mackinaw City, Mi., an area that I am very familiar with. I have lived here for 12 years and visited for several years before that. The author knows the geography of the area well.
The storyline is one that could easily take place today and is made even more believable by the "human" characters. I found it difficult to put the book down once I was immersed in the story, wondering what would happen next. The hero is simply an average guy trying to make a living when he becomes unwillingly caught up in an international terrorism plot. What can a hero do?
The end of the story is unpredictable. An end that I can't say I would have hoped for, but then maybe that's part of the charm of the book.
