Thought the author presented realistic ideas and tips for moving to zero waste. The book made me more aware of packaging and it's already changed my shopping habits. I like how she gave lots of ideas and tips that I could implement one at a time (or not at all), depending on my lifestyle.

Don't waste your money. She's weird. It's seriously unrealistic for a normal mother to do most of the weird stuff she talks about. Seriously throw out your can opener??? I'm sorry but I guess you don't realize that there's a lot of people out there who don't have the excess leisurely time to always make home made tortilla chips, cheese from scratch or grow and can tomatoes. If she's so OCD about butter wrappers creating waste then why buy meat and dairy products at all?? Industrialized meat and dairy farms are horrible for the environment.
