I read this on vacation and it's the perfect light read. Mindy is hilarious.
  • Funny & cute, but rambling

    By MindfulMess
The book was light and fun, but not deep or meaningful in any way. I appreciated MK's light humor; it was what I needed during a crazy heavy time in my life.
  • Hilarious and Honest

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as Mindy's new book. She tells interesting personal stories about her childhood, romantic life, and rise to fame. She is that one funny friend we all want to have. Most importantly, she is so real. I definitely recommend this book.
  • Just what I needed

I read this while I was deathly ill (not even kidding about this) and it made me feel a little better. I can't wait to read more from Mindy and to be back to health, so I can actually lol at her jokes. Read it and you'll smile - which is totally worth ten bucks.
  • Love this book!

I loved this book! I’m a huge fan of Mindy Kaling ever since I started watching The Mindy Project. The book is equally hilarious. Had a great time reading it and can’t wait to buy her next book!
  • Great start then lost charm

I was drawn by the funny beginning. However this book gets less interesting from the middle. I still think it is worth reading since there are not that many Asian best selling authors out there, especially a young woman.
  • Fun Read

I purchased this book to read on a long 14 hour flight. It was so funny and very relatable. She puts on paper what most only think about and wouldn't say out loud. Thoroughly enjoyable read.
  • Meh

I wish I hadn't read this book, actually. I like "The Mindy Project" and have a lot of respect for the show that has so many good feminist moments. But this put Mindy Kaling in a different light for me, and now I'm not sure I would want to meet her anymore.
  • A most read

I loved this book, I felt like she was talking to me directly as my best friend. This is the perfect gift or a twenty-something.
  • I ❤️ Mindy
