This book had me mesmerized from the start! I am a 56-year-old woman born and raised in Oklahoma. I’m almost embarrassed to admit knowing nothing about the history of the Osage. This book really opened my eyes....and heart for what they went through. Great job David!

I am simply dumbfounded that I had not ever heard of this horrific mass murder of the Osage Indians before now. This book should be required reading in high schools. I would suggest to any reader to take some notes as you are reading to assist in keeping the families straight in your mind. I have already purchased an additional copy to share with my son, who I am certain will share with others.

Historical event that I was definitely unaware of and I would bet most Americans are unaware of this tragic event that white people has done to the natives of this land.

Much respect for Mr Gann & research; felt like I was reading a textbook at times, but worth the struggle. Learned loads.

Killers of the Flower Moon got my attention when I saw it on the NYC bestsellers list. It's a page turning true story that would make a great movie. The book is an eye opening history of this country's mistreatment of Native Americans. It made me angry and sad knowing that our mistreatment has not ceased since our arrival on their land. I've been researching Native Americans history for the past 10 years for a novel I'm writing. In all my research, this was the first information I read about the plight of the Osage Indians as well as the forming of the FBI. Loved this book and plan to buy several copies to give as gifts. If I could rate this book with 10 stars, it wouldn't be a high enough rating. Thank you David Grann for this historical masterpiece.

This book is extremely interesting and well written. The author articulates a period in history that I suspect few are aware of. My thanks to the author for bringing to the forefront a tragic time in such an intriguing and formative manner.

Very interesting and engaging for the most part... I would have given 5 star but it rambled and dragged a bit at the end... still a decent read though... what a tragedy for so many.
